Terms of service

StyleLoop is an online platform where members can list pre-loved fashion, browse and contact sellers, and use styling tools. Sales are agreed directly between buyer and seller. Unless we clearly say otherwise, we are not a party to any sale, do not own or inspect items, and do not handle payment or delivery.

• You must be at least 16. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian to buy or sell.
• You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You may only have one personal account, and must not use StyleLoop if we have previously removed you.
• If you sell regularly as a business, you must say so and follow consumer law that applies to traders.

Keep your password private and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity on it. Tell us at once at hello@styleloop.co if you think someone else has accessed it.

When you list an item you confirm that:

• You own it and have the right to sell it.
• Your photos are your own and show the actual item.
• The description, size, condition and price are accurate, including any flaws.
• You will mark it sold or remove it once it is no longer available.
• You will honour sales you agree to.

Any earnings depend on buyers and are never guaranteed. You are responsible for any tax due on your sales.

• Counterfeit, replica or unauthorised branded items.
• Stolen goods or items you do not have the right to sell.
• Recalled or unsafe items, including those that do not meet safety rules.
• Used underwear, used swimwear without hygiene liner, or other unhygienic items.
• Items made from protected animal species, weapons, drugs or anything illegal.
• Anything that is not fashion, footwear or accessories.

Read listings carefully and ask the seller questions before agreeing to buy. Payment and handover are arranged directly between you and the seller. Take sensible care: meet in public places, check items before paying where you can, and never send money off-platform to someone you do not trust. Your rights against the seller depend on whether they are a private individual or a business.

Style my pieces, outfit ideas, Mirror check and suggested listing details are produced automatically. They are for inspiration only and can be inaccurate. Recommendations only include items available at the time, but availability can change. You decide what to wear, buy or sell.

Treat everyone with respect. You must not:

• Harass, threaten, discriminate against or abuse anyone.
• Post misleading, hateful, sexual or illegal content.
• Spam, scam, or ask people to pay outside agreed arrangements to avoid our rules.
• Scrape, copy or interfere with the service, or try to access other accounts.

Use Report on a listing or shop if something is wrong. We review reports and may remove content.

You keep ownership of the photos and text you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, adapt for layout and promote your listings on StyleLoop while they are live, and for a reasonable time after for records. You confirm you have the rights to grant this.

The StyleLoop name, logo, design and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only to use StyleLoop as intended.

We may remove listings or content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. Where reasonable we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. You can close your account at any time by contacting us.

We provide StyleLoop with reasonable care and skill, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. Because we are not part of sales between members, we are not responsible for the quality, safety or legality of items, or for what members say or do.

We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, business losses, or losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

We may update these terms as StyleLoop grows, for example when we add payments or delivery. We will give you reasonable notice of important changes. If you keep using StyleLoop after they take effect, the new terms apply.

Please contact us first and we will try to resolve any problem. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in your home country of the UK if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland.
